NEUTROGENA CLEANSING TOWELETTES

I made it my personal mission to look for the cheapest yet most effective make up cleansing towellettes/ wipes! For it to pass, it had to be moist enough, remove even heavy make up i,e cream foundations, remove waterproof mascara, and staining lipstick! I tried different ones and i found that some were making good and wonderful promises but they failed to deliver on their promises!!

I tried another brand and i actually had to throw the wipes away because they were so irritating on my skin, too rough i think. I also am too careful of the 3 in 1 or 5 in 1 wipes because they try to do everything and most of the time, according to my experience, they dont deliver. But i was so amazed and satisfied when i tried the Neutrogena Make up Remover Cleansing towelettes. They are ultra soft and they dissolve all traces of make up even the heavy make up,tinted lipstick, and waterproof mascara. I bought a pack of pre-moistened towelettes R84.95 at Dischem, but you can find them at other supermarkets and pharmarcies as well. Have you tried them before? How was your experience with them?

REVLON HD LIPSTICK & LIP LACQUER

I have always seen the adverts about the new Revlon lipstick and lip lacquer and how wonderful they are. They said that the colour is intense and its Hd and its also moisturising. So i went and bought it and wanted to try it for myself.

So i started first with the lipstick and the color is 855 Geranium! Its an orangy sort of like color and it looks very good against my skin tone. I applied it on my lips without applying a lip liner and i noticed that the lipstick was very moisturising! Its not very pigmented though as it may appear to be , but i needed to apply it for a couple of times. Because of the moisture in the lipstick, the application wasnt very smooth. If you are looking for moisture in the lipstick, that might be a choice but i wasnt impressed by the lipstick. I was looking for both moiture and pigment and the lipstick had to glide smoothly but this one failed to. On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the highest, i would just give it 1!

Lets talk about the lip lacquer! I loved the packaging and the wand with the bristtle, thought that it was creative! It makes the application of the product easy and it just glides. With the Lacquer, you cannot apply too much product because a little really goes a long way. The color that i have is No 535 Strawberry Topaz! I was so happy with the pigment of this product because what you see in the container is exactly what will be applied on your lips. Remember, less is more and yesssssss... this one is really HD!  On a scale of 1 to 5 i would definitely give this one 4! 

LANCOME REVIEW!!

I was chosen by Beauty Bulletin as one of the 30 ladies to try out the Lancome vissionaire cx fluid and then to write an honest review about it. I was very excited to realise that they chose me and that the product was on its way to me. I couldnt believe it because it retails from R860!!!! They said that the product is meant to reduce wrinkles, tone and pores. They said that you could see the results from the moment you start to apply the product. I was sceptical!!

I washed my face and after that i applied the serum. I could see the difference already. My face was glowing and looking very fresh. I thought, well, this will surely go away after some time. We were asked to write a review immediately after our first application, then our first week of using the product, then after 4 week. After a week my skin was even better as i noticed that i was getting fairer and the pores on my t-zone were getting even smaller. The dark circles around my eyes and the pigmentation i had from my pimples were also getting better. I couldnt believe it! It wasnt like a drastic change but i know my skin and i can clearly see the small changes that were happening. I believed that with time my skin would be evenly toned and pores refined and fine lines filled, of course with continued use of the product. Now that is where my problem is......!!! The produts are expensive and i will surely need a very serious tightening of the belt to afford it.

I got so fortunate because this week i was told by Beauty Bulletin that Lancome loved my reviews and they are sending me more products. Yay!! I am now starting to be a very big fan of Lancome.
